Aktenzeichen XY: ZDF shows brutal femicides – hope for clues
A 22-year-old woman is murdered, her body found on the train tracks near Oldenburg in May. In May, the body of a 19-year-old was found in a forest near Bayreuth. In May, 2022, a 20-year-old is killed in the vicinity of Seligenstadt.
These are just three of many femicides that the ZDF will show in the current episode of "Aktenzeichen XY... ungelöst" on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 8:15 p.m.
The investigators hope that viewers will provide information that will help them solve these heinous crimes. The police are particularly interested in the following cases:
The murder of Carolin Gruber
The 22-year-old was last seen alive on May 5, 2022 in Oldenburg. Her body was found on the train tracks near the city on May 6, 2022. The autopsy revealed that she had been strangled.
The murder of Vanessa Milling
The 19-year-old was last seen alive on May 11, 2022 in Bayreuth. Her body was found in a forest near the city on May 12, 2022. The autopsy revealed that she had been stabbed to death.
The murder of Rebecca Reusch
The 20-year-old was last seen alive on May 18, 2022 in Seligenstadt. Her body was found in the Main river near the city on June 19, 2022. The autopsy revealed that she had been drowned.
