Daniel Farke: Leeds ready for 'in your face' Millwall test
Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke says his side must be prepared for a physical battle when they take on Millwall at The Den on Saturday.
The Lions are known for their direct and aggressive style of play, and Farke knows his team will need to be up for the challenge.
“We know what to expect from Millwall,” said Farke. “They’re a very physical team, they’re very in your face, and they’re very direct.”
“We’re going to have to match their intensity, we’re going to have to be prepared for a battle, and we’re going to have to be prepared to stand up to them physically.”
Leeds will be without a number of key players for the trip to The Den, including Liam Cooper, Stuart Dallas, and Patrick Bamford.
But Farke is confident that his side can still get a result.
“We’ve got a good squad, we’ve got a lot of quality, and we’re confident that we can go there and get a win,” said Farke.
“We know it’s going to be a tough game, but we’re up for the challenge.”
Leeds are currently second in the Championship, while Millwall are 16th.
The match at The Den kicks off at 3pm on Saturday.
