Daniel Farke Names Duo in Leeds United Squad to Face Millwall After Late Fitness Tests as £5m Ace Also Returns
Farke Bolsters Options
Head coach Daniel Farke has been handed a timely boost ahead of Leeds United's trip to Millwall on Saturday afternoon, with two players passing late fitness tests to be included in the squad.
The Whites have been struggling with injuries in recent weeks, but Farke has confirmed that both Liam Cooper and Junior Firpo have been given the green light to travel to The Den.
Cooper has been out with a calf injury since the defeat to Cardiff City last month, while Firpo has been struggling with a knee problem.
Bamford Returns
In further good news for Farke, Patrick Bamford is also back in the squad after missing the last two games with a groin injury.
The £5m striker has been in impressive form for Leeds this season, scoring seven goals in 12 appearances.
His return will be a major boost for Farke, who will be looking to get back to winning ways after successive defeats to Cardiff and Wigan Athletic.
Millwall Test
Leeds will face a tough test against Millwall, who are unbeaten in their last four games.
The Lions are currently 10th in the Championship table, just two points behind Leeds.
Farke will be hoping that his side can put in a good performance and get back to winning ways.
