Pregnant Sonia Fowler is left in danger as Reiss Colwell returns to EastEnders

EastEnders viewers were left horrified as Reiss Colwell returned to the soap in dramatic scenes this week, and it’s bad news for pregnant Sonia Fowler.

Reiss, played by Jonny Freeman, was last seen on the soap in 2019 when he was sent to prison for killing his wife, Johnny Carter.

But in Thursday night’s episode, he was released from prison and immediately set his sights on Sonia, who is now pregnant with Martin Fowler’s baby.

Reiss kidnaps Sonia

Reiss bundled Sonia into his car and drove her to an abandoned warehouse, where he began to taunt her about her pregnancy.

He told her that he was going to kill her and her unborn child, and that he wanted to make her suffer.

Sonia was terrified and begged Reiss to let her go, but he refused.

Sonia eventually managed to escape from Reiss’ clutches and ran back to Walford, where she told Martin what had happened.

Martin was furious and immediately went to the police, but by the time they arrived at the warehouse, Reiss had already fled.

The police are now searching for Reiss, but he is still on the loose.

Sonia is now living in fear for her life and the life of her unborn child.
