A chippy is serving up a Christmas dinner with a twist - complete with battered sprouts and pigs in blankets.

The "fishmas" dinner will be available at The Crispy Cod in Selby, North Yorkshire, from December 1.

What's on the menu?

The festive feast includes battered cod, chips, mushy peas and your choice of either battered sprouts or pigs in blankets.

It's all served up in a festive cardboard box, complete with a sprig of holly.

Owner Sam Fort said: "We wanted to do something a bit different for Christmas this year."

"We thought about what people would like to eat on Christmas Day, and we came up with the fishmas dinner."

"We're really excited to see what people think of it."

The fishmas dinner costs £7.99.

The fishmas dinner is available at The Crispy Cod in Selby, North Yorkshire.

The chippy is open from 11am to 9pm, seven days a week.
