Early life and acting career

Ashley Jensen was born on 11 October 1969 in Annan, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. Her parents were both teachers, and she has one older brother. Jensen attended Annan Academy before moving to London to study drama at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
