Not where England is at: Marcus Trescothick talks up ailing ODI team

Marcus Trescothick believes England are "nowhere near" where they need to be in one-day cricket as the team look to avoid a series whitewash in Bangladesh.

England have lost both of their matches in Mirpur so far, bowled out for just 140 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium on Friday.

Trescothick, who was part of England's 2005 Ashes-winning side, said there are "big problems" in the 50-over format and that the team need to "take a good look at themselves".

"We are nowhere near where we want to be," Trescothick told Sky Sports. "We have got some big problems in one-day cricket and we need to take a good look at ourselves.

"We have got to go back to basics and work out what our best team is. We need to find a way of winning games of cricket. We are not doing that at the moment."
