FC Bayern is apparently in the running to sign a Barca talent

Bavaria is said to have expressed interest in a Spanish U21 international from FC Barcelona

According to a report in the Spanish newspaper "Sport", FC Bayern Munich is showing interest in Alejandro Balde from FC Barcelona. The 19-year-old left-back is said to be attracting attention with strong performances for the Catalans.

Balde has made 16 appearances for Barca this season, scoring one goal and providing four assists. He has also been capped four times by the Spanish U21 team.

Bayern are said to be looking for a new left-back to provide competition for Alphonso Davies. Balde would fit the bill as he is a young, talented player with plenty of potential.

However, Barca are unlikely to want to sell Balde as he is considered a key part of their plans for the future. The La Liga giants are said to be in talks with the player over a new contract.

If Bayern are to sign Balde, they will likely have to pay a significant transfer fee. The Spaniard is under contract at Barca until 2024.
