Tottenham boss forced to name inexperienced squad after Covid and injury problems
Tottenham Hotspur will travel to Turkey for their Europa Conference League clash with Galatasaray with a host of youngsters in their squad.
Antonio Conte has been hit by a number of injuries and Covid-19 cases in recent weeks, and he will be forced to field an inexperienced team in Istanbul.
Among the players who could make their debuts for Spurs are defender Alfie Devine, midfielder Harvey White and forward Dane Scarlett.
Conte said: "We have a lot of injuries and some players with Covid, so we have to take some young players with us.
"It's a good opportunity for them to show their quality and to help us in this difficult moment."
Spurs are currently ninth in the Premier League, and they will be looking to use the Europa Conference League as a springboard for a successful end to the season.
They will face a tough test against Galatasaray, who are top of the Turkish Super Lig.
The match will be played on Thursday, December 9, at the Nef Stadyumu.
