Thomas Muster sells his trophies for 244.500 Euro
Former Tennis pro Thomas Muster has sold his trophies for a quarter of a million Euro.
For many years, the tennis legend Thomas Muster was among the best players in the world. Muster managed to win a total of 44 titles in his career, including the French Open in 1995.
The trophies were sold at an auction in Vienna.
The auction was held at the Dorotheum in Vienna. Several of Muster's trophies were sold, including the ones he won at the French Open, the Italian Open, and the Monte Carlo Masters. The total amount raised from the sale of the trophies was 244,500 euros.
Muster said that he decided to sell the trophies because he wanted to raise money for his foundation. The foundation supports young tennis players in Austria.
