Vodafone names four small companies to get free ad space at Aviva this autumn
Small businesses in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff get helping hand with advertising space
Vodafone has named four small businesses which will receive free advertising space at this autumn’s Aviva Premiership Rugby Final. The businesses, all based in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff – the locations of the four Aviva Premiership semi-finals – will receive a package worth up to £10,000 to help promote their brands to a huge audience at one of the biggest events in the rugby calendar. Vodafone is the official technology partner of Premiership Rugby.
The four businesses are:
- Birmingham: Edgbaston Coffee House, a local coffee shop with a focus on sustainability
- Manchester: The Laundrette, a social enterprise that provides training and employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities
- Glasgow: The Glasgow Distillery, an award-winning whisky distillery
- Cardiff: Tiny Rebel Brewing Co., a craft brewery that has been named one of the best in the UK
The businesses were selected from a pool of applicants by a panel of judges from Vodafone and Premiership Rugby. They were chosen for their innovative ideas, their commitment to their communities, and their potential to grow and succeed. Vodafone’s free advertising space at the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final will give these businesses a unique opportunity to reach a huge audience and promote their brands to potential customers.
Vodafone has a long history of supporting small businesses. In 2018, the company launched its Small Business Hub, which provides a range of resources and support to help small businesses grow and succeed.
“We’re delighted to be able to give these four small businesses the opportunity to advertise at the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final,” said Vodafone’s UK CEO Nick Jeffery. “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and we’re committed to supporting them in any way we can. We hope that this free advertising space will help these businesses reach a wider audience and achieve their full potential.”
