Unplayable Podcast: Excited Ellis hits Edinburgh for Scottish T20s

He has featured in the last two T20Is against Australia

Ollie Ellis is excited to be back in Edinburgh with the Notts Outlaws for the Scottish T20 finals weekend after making his international debut last week.

The 22-year-old off-spinner has featured in the last two T20Is against Australia and travels north on Thursday for the semi-final with Strikers at The Grange.

Ellis played for Scotland in 2021 and could make his Outlaws T20 debut in Scotland.

“It was an unbelievable experience and something I will never forget,” said Ellis, who finished with figures of 0-31 in the series decider in Southampton on Tuesday.

“I was just happy to be there and getting a game was a bonus and it was special to do it against the world number one side.

“I am not sure whether I will be making my Notts debut in Scotland but, if I do, it will be nice to go back to Edinburgh. I really enjoyed my time there last year.”

The winner of the semi-final on Friday will play in Sunday’s final at the same venue.

The Outlaws are the defending champions after they beat Derbyshire at Edgbaston in front of a sold-out crowd last season.
