Vernon Kay reveals big secret he kept from everyone but wife Tess Daly: 'I didn't tell the kids'
Vernon Kay has revealed a big secret that he has kept from everyone but his wife Tess Daly - and even his own children don't know.
The TV presenter, 48, made the admission on his BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday morning (July 23) while chatting to stand-in host Rylan Clark.
Rylan asked Vernon if he had any secrets that he had kept from Tess, to which Vernon replied: "I've got a big one actually, yeah."
When Rylan pressed him further, Vernon said: "I'm not going to tell you because I've not told the kids yet."
He added: "It's a big secret and it's going to come out at some point, but I'm not going to say what it is here."
Vernon did not give any further details about what the secret is, but he did say that it was something that he had been keeping to himself for a long time.
"It's something that I've been keeping to myself for a long time and I've not told anybody," he said.
"I'm not even going to tell you, Rylan. You're not going to get it out of me."
Vernon and Tess have been married since 2003 and have three daughters together: Phoebe, 18, Amber, 13, and Harriett, 11.
The couple are known for being very private about their personal lives, so it is no surprise that Vernon has kept this secret to himself for so long.
Whatever the secret is, we're sure it will come out eventually. But for now, we'll just have to wait and see.
